“Gathering” Waste at City Centre Festival

Pat Munro Waste was delighted to do the big “clean- up” during and after the Gathering Festival at the Northern Meeting Park in Inverness this month. This one-day city centre festival which was first held back in 2019, celebrates the best of the Highlands & Scotland. Attended by 6,000 this year, it’s a showcase of live music, culture, food & drink.
We supplied 30 x 1100ltr bins and 4 x 14yd enclosed skips as well as having litter pickers at the event. The majority of the clean-up took place on Saturday night and the finer litter pick took place on the Monday. We wrapped up on Monday afternoon and were proud to leave a very clean and tidy Northern Meeting Park.
One of the event attendees took to social media and said:
Really impressed with your litter picking staff during the festival - they did a great job, even managing to smile when it was hard to get between people as it got busier.
